“When I learned that Corvallis was opening up a Honda dealership in 1986, all I could think of was motorcycles. Having been employed by a local Chevy store for 7 years, I never gave it another thought. Several months went by, and word spread that the Honda dealership would be opening up in a few months. Once I found out that they were talking about cars and not motorcycles, I knew I wanted to pursue a career with University Honda. In September of 1986, University Honda opened its doors to the public. I have been the office manager here for 23 wonderful years, and I couldn’t be happier working with our team. 13 years ago my husband came to work here as a technician. Now we both enjoy eating lunch together, and being able to carpool and ride our bikes in the spring and summer to work.”

“I was offered a job opportunity with University Honda in the summer of 1992. My main responsibility is managing the Department of Motor Vehicles Title and Registration, service warranties, and various other duties for our customers. I still enjoy my position and co-workers here, and hope to continue for sometime. My flexible work schedule allows me to spend more time with family, and supports my love of gardening. Both my husband and I were born and raised in Corvallis and plan to retire here.”

“I have been an employee for University Honda since November 2006, and I really enjoy it! Originally, I was asked if I would like to interview with the Office Manager for a temporary position. I had been looking for more permanent work, and was eventually picked for the position full time. My main responsibilities here are managing accounts receivable, and being a receptionist. Some of my other interests include camping, white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, and lots of other outdoor activities.”
