Two Miles from Canada

Hi Kirk,
Grace and I are on a 5½ week driving trip to see the New England states. Yesterday as we were touring northern Vermont, we noticed that we were only two miles from the Canadian border. So we decided to go across. I took this picture of our Civic Hybrid by their welcome sign. We drove to the first small town and then came back to the US border. Two miles back inside the US, the odometer read exactly 60,000 miles!
By the way, so far on this trip we have traveled approximately 4400 miles (we are keeping track of it on “trip B”) and the average for that total is 48.4 MPG!!! We think that’s great. That’s our story of where our Honda went. We’ll see the gang in service for our 60K service (and probably tires) when we get back.
