Halloween, Full Success

University Honda has typically been pretty festive when it comes to dressing up for Halloween. Past costume contests have been judged by Uhonda’s Attorney Tim Willis and building consultant Russ Peterson. This year was not as organized as others, so the big contest didn’t happen, but there was still scary costumes to be found.
Kirk Theis showed his Halloween Spirit with his rendition of our transmission expert, Lenny Bruce. Lenny has been working at University Honda as a Honda Certified technician for 3 years. Aside from his expert ability in servicing locally owned Hondas and quickly diagnosing transmission issues, he’s quite a character. Usually in shorts, Lenny is always positive and energetic….always! He has a true passion for life and continuously expresses his gratitude working with Service Manager, Eric Hart. “Eric is the best person I’ve ever worked for,” Lenny has said many times around the dealership.
Lenny is never short on jokes and this time he was flattered by Kirk’s choice to imitate. Kirk’s longtime childhood friend and owner of Special Occasions, Kyle Tegner, can be thanked for the facial hair and wig. Perhaps the two aspects of this outfit worth noting are: A) The hair - Kirk’s wig was a perfect match to Lenny’s healthy head of hair, (self titled “The Liza” by Lenny himself); and B) the tattoo - mysteriously photo’d by Kirk two weeks before Halloween and drawn on his leg by Carter (his brother). Kirk’s leg is the one on the right (click on photo for closer view).
Lenny is a great asset to University Honda. His number one passion is playing first baseman on his softball team. And for those that don’t know, he is the self-proclaimed mayor of Alpine OR. First place for this years’ Halloween Contest, if there was one to be had, would have to go to Kirk Theis. (2nd place to Lenny).
